Your WhatsApp is the planet. Each satellite is one tool Claude can use — small, named after what it does, and logged when it runs.

The panel

This is what you get. Not a roadmap.

A plain panel with seven tabs: an overview, your conversations, importing older history, the WhatsApp link, Claude's access, settings, and an activity log. It runs no scripts in your browser, and there is nothing to install on the phone.

What Claude can do

Sixteen tools. Eleven of them only read.

Every tool does one thing and is named after it. Claude chooses which to use for what you ask; you see every call afterwards.

Media is never fetched in bulk: one file, when a tool asks for it, up to the size you allow.

get_status
Is the phone linked, and are your conversations up to date.
list_chats
Your conversations, newest first, with what was said last.
get_inbox
What came in that you have not read yet, with the messages.
get_awaiting_reply
Who is waiting on your reply — read or not — and since when.
get_chat
One conversation, and who is in it.
list_messages
The messages of a conversation, page by page.
search_messages
Search the words of every stored conversation.
search_contacts
Find a person or a group by name or number.
download_media
Fetch one photo, document or voice note, when asked.
get_media
Look at a photo or listen to a voice note already stored, when it matters to the question.
fetch_older_history
Ask the phone for messages older than the stored copy holds, one conversation at a time.

Write — only with an access key you marked as allowed to send

resolve_recipient
Turn a name or number into an exact recipient, to confirm with you before anything goes out.
send_message
Send a text, within the limits you set. Refused outright by a read-only access key.
send_image
Send a picture. Confirmed with you first; visible at once, and it cannot be unsent.
send_voice_note
Send audio as a voice note, converted to what WhatsApp needs.
send_document
Send a PDF, a spreadsheet, any file, as an attachment.

How it works

Three steps. Less than an afternoon.

  1. Link your WhatsApp

    Scan a QR code from the panel, exactly as you would for WhatsApp Web. uautsapp becomes one of your linked devices.

  2. Let your conversations load

    Your recent conversations settle into a private, encrypted copy of your own. Older history you can import from a chat export.

  3. Connect Claude

    Add uautsapp as a connection in Claude, approve it in the panel, decide whether it may send or only read. Then just ask.

Read this before you start

It is a linked device, run by software WhatsApp did not write. That has consequences.

uautsapp talks to WhatsApp the way WhatsApp Web does, but with software WhatsApp did not write. WhatsApp's terms do not allow that for commercial use, and accounts have been banned for it. We behave like a normal linked device — one session, no bulk sending, human-scale limits — but we cannot promise WhatsApp will see it that way.

We say this on the first page because you should decide with your eyes open. If losing this number would be a disaster, connect a different one.
