Acceptable use
uautsapp is a personal assistant for your own WhatsApp — not a tool for sending messages in bulk. In plain words: what it is for, the rules you agree to follow, and what keeps your number safe.
This is a summary of acceptable use, not a substitute for WhatsApp's own policies.

What uautsapp is — and what it isn't
uautsapp is a personal assistant that works over your own WhatsApp conversations. It keeps a private copy so Claude can answer your questions about them, and it replies one to one, only when you allow it — never on its own.
It is not a broadcast tool, a mass-messaging system, or a way to send marketing blasts. It is not for cold outreach to people who never wrote to you. If what you need is to message strangers in bulk, uautsapp is the wrong tool for it.
You follow WhatsApp's rules
Using uautsapp means using WhatsApp within its own rules. You agree to respect WhatsApp's Terms of Service and, when you message for business, its Business and commercial messaging policies. In short:
- No spam, and no unsolicited bulk messages.
- No automated mass outreach of any kind.
- No buying or scraping contact lists, and no messaging people who never opted in.
- No harassment, and nothing illegal.
The ban risk, plainly
uautsapp connects to WhatsApp as a linked device, using software WhatsApp did not write. WhatsApp may limit or ban accounts, and spammy behaviour is the fastest way there. We can't promise WhatsApp won't act.
So use a number you could stand to lose. How you use it is your responsibility.
What we do to keep your number safe
None of this is a guarantee — WhatsApp decides what WhatsApp does. These are limits built in to keep your number on the safe side:
- Sending is off by default. uautsapp only reads until you turn sending on yourself.
- Replies only, by default. You can answer people who already messaged you — no cold outreach to strangers.
- A human pace. Messages go out spaced like a person typing, not blasted all at once.
- A gentle warm-up. A freshly linked number is eased in gradually, not put to work the moment it connects.
- Automatic pause. Too many messages, or a distress signal from WhatsApp, pauses sending on its own.
- No fan-out. The same message can't be pushed to many chats at once.
If you break these rules
If uautsapp is used against these rules, we may pause or close the workspace. Where we can, we'll tell you why.
