What to ask

What to ask

Claude needs no special commands. You ask the way you would ask an assistant sitting next to you, and it picks the tools. These are the questions people who run a business on WhatsApp ask every day — copy one, change the names, see what comes back.

01 · Nobody left waiting

Every unanswered conversation, oldest first — the person who has waited longest is the first one you see.

  • Who is waiting for my reply, and since when?
  • Show me the five oldest unanswered conversations and what each person last asked.
  • Which customers asked about a price this week and never got an answer?
  • Who did I promise to get back to and haven't?

02 · Start the day

Five minutes with a coffee, and you know what the day looks like before you open a single chat.

  • What came in overnight? One line per conversation.
  • Morning brief: what needs me today, what can wait.
  • Which group chats had something I should actually read?
  • Did anyone write over the weekend and still not get an answer?

03 · Close what's open

Quotes, proposals and "let me think about it" are all in the history. Claude reads it back to you as a list of open deals.

  • List every conversation where I sent a quote and the customer went quiet.
  • Which deals are waiting on me, and which are waiting on them?
  • Who asked for a proposal in the last 30 days? Status of each.
  • Who said they would think about it more than a week ago?

04 · Remember everything

Full-text search across every conversation cached, so something agreed in a chat six weeks ago is one question away.

  • What did Anna and I agree about the delivery date?
  • Find the message where the client sent the address.
  • Everything we discussed about the Miller contract, in order.
  • Show me the photos Mark sent last week.

05 · Reply faster

Drafting is reading: Claude writes, you approve. Sending only happens with a token you marked as allowed to send.

  • Draft a reply to James's last message; I'll approve before it goes.
  • Give me three ways to answer Carla's complaint; I'll pick one.
  • Reply to the three oldest unanswered with "I'll get back to you by Friday".needs send permission
  • Send Emma the price list PDF from our chat.needs send permission

06 · Understand the week

Step back from the chats one by one and see the pattern: who wrote, what they wanted, where it went wrong.

  • Summarise this week's conversations by customer.
  • What are people asking about most this month?
  • Which conversations had a complaint?
  • Which conversations had the most back-and-forth this week?

How this actually works

Claude reads a copy. It never acts on its own.

Claude reads the cached copy of your conversations, so an answer is as fresh as the last sync — usually seconds behind your phone. It never answers anyone on its own: it speaks only when you ask, and sending is off until you allow it for a specific client or token. Every call, whether a question or a send, is in your activity log.
